Unplug from Social media
Everyone is on social media these days such as Snapchat, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and much more. It's a shame that when you're with friends everyone is on social media which is sad because it's taking away time from being around with your friends. Taking time to unplug and relax is important because there is so much on social media and learning to take a break is very beneficial to you and the friends and family surrounding you. I know it can be very hard sometimes to leave your phone for a couple hours, but it's truly a good thing. When you're off your phone you tend to pay more attention to the people around you and make more connections. Go find something fun to do with family and friends and make memories because you only live once. Live life to the fullest and take time away from your phone and unplug to enjoy what's happening around you.

Friends Come and Go
Friends are the best gift anyone can have because they are there for you during everything during your life your hardships, struggles, devastating moments, embarrassing moments, and memorable moments. When I think of friendship I think of always willing to help you and care about you even when they're not with you, but in over for a friendship to last you have to dedicate your time and energy to that person to show your committed and that they aren't a waste of time. It's almost kind of like a relationship with a girl and a guy they have to agree on things and make time for everything to even out. I'll be brutally honest with to whoever is reading this I am a very down to earth person and love having fun with my friends with lots of laughs. I think friends really do come and go because they find different interests which mean friends begin to grow apart. I think growing apart from certain friends is totally fine because then you can meet new friends and explore with different people. I love going hiking with my friends because it's always a unique experience and there's always something new to talk about. Being honest with your friends is truly a key aspect in order for a friendship to work out. Lying to your friends can cause lots of unnecessary drama that no one needs in their lives. Be honest and stay true to who you are. You only live once so live your life to the fullest, and stay positive. Don't let the little things let you down because you can't let that define who you are. Believe in yourself and you will be unstoppable. Never stop reaching your high goals and striving to always be a better person. Don't let anyone say you need to be different to better fit into society because everyone's unique and that's what makes everyone different in their own unique ways. Always embrace change because different experiences can change your perspective on life.
California Trip
I had a wonderful time in California with my family and my Mom's best friend’s family. We were there for a total of 5 days and we had various activities planned each day and many different restaurants planned to eat at. On day one My family and I went with Laura and Kera to a very nice restaurant Costera this place had an amazing view of the ocean. I remember taking lots of pictures with Kera by the water because the view was so perfect. On our way back home I noticed all of the traffic for only being three o'clock in the afternoon and couldn't believe that the freeway was always busy during the day it didn't mean if it was morning or night the freeway was crazy busy. On the next morning, I woke up pretty early because California is two hours behind Wisconsin time. My Mom, Dad, Kera, and I went with Laura to her hair appointment followed by some Starbucks afterward. Then we went to Costco to get some snacks for our beach bonfire that was going to occur that evening. When we got home everyone packed their bags and got some warm clothes because the temperatures were dropping quickly. We packed the car with a cooler, chairs, food, and ourselves of course! We all arrived at the beach in about forty-fives. Everyone helped unload the car, set up the games, and food. After we were set up everything we walked along the beach The view was absolutely beautiful with the waves glistening, birds chirping, and the weather was perfect. After we came back from the walk we all played some games on the beach which included badminton and football. The sun was starting to set and the light was becoming dimmer. Laura had called in a guy that would come to set-up the beach bomb fire and take down when we were done which was really nice because we didn't have to worry about bringing any wood or matches. I enjoyed sitting around the warm fire with the comfort of my family and friends with lots of laughs. Kera asked her Mom if she could have a marshmallow to make an s'more and she began to pass the bag so everyone around the fire could have one. The s’mores were so delicious! Oh, my it's already it's already day three and we're going sailing in the ocean. Sailing was absolutely amazing, but there is a lot of technical work involved that I didn't realize. The next day we all went to the beach for a day. It was a bit chilly, but later on, it began to warm up. My brother, Kera, and I played with a Frisbee in the ocean after we ate our sandwiches. The water was really cold, but after a little while, we got used to it. On the following day our second to last day we went to the San Diego fair with Laura and Kera. The fair was very busy and big. I had a really good pasta dish for lunch with a salad and bread stick was really good. We walked around the fair for a bit and Kera and I went on a ride and then we left to go home. That night Laura made homemade pizza on the grill which was to die for! Our last day is fastly approaching which is really sad because I don't want to leave and get back to reality. The last day was filled with lots of shopping at a mall, dinner, and lots of sunset pictures with family and friends. This trip was definitely one for the books and couldn't have asked for anything better. I can't wait to someday go back to California and explore more of the city because there is so much more to see of course that I didn't get to explore.
